HOW IT WORKS

Our process — 4 steps.

  1. Pre-season prep

Mark walks and edges so they don't get cut into in October.

  2. Storm trigger

Forecast + on-site verification triggers dispatch by 5am.

  3. Service

Most homes done before 7am so the commute is clear.

  4. Post-storm check

Return pass to clear drift accumulation once snow stops.

WHY SUNSET FOR SIDEWALK SHOVELING

Three reasons it's worth the call.

Pre-7am finish

Walks cleared before the morning commute, mail run, dog walk.

Hand-shoveled

No snowblower scarring on stamped concrete or pavers.

HOA group rates

Multi-unit HOAs get a per-unit rate cut. We mow them in summer, too.

HOW PRICING WORKS

QUESTIONS · ANSWERED

Sidewalk Shoveling questions, answered.

When do contracts sign?

Most contracts sign before Halloween for the upcoming winter. We mark drives, walks, and sprinkler heads in November so the crew knows the property before the first storm. After November 15 we still accept new contracts but the routes are mostly set.

What is the activation trigger?

2 inches by default. Below 2 inches we don't service residential. Commercial accounts can specify a lower trigger (1 inch or zero-trigger ice management) for an additional contracted fee.

What is your response time?

2 hours from trigger fire on residential. 2 hours by contracted SLA on commercial. We dispatch in waves — residential routes run after the commercial accounts, so a residential customer is usually served by 7 AM after an overnight storm.

Are you insured for snow work?

Yes — $2M general liability plus full property-damage coverage on every plow on the road. COI sent during onboarding before the first storm. Slip-and-fall coverage on commercial accounts in case of incident at a serviced lot.

Do you do de-icing only, without plowing?

Yes — de-icing is a standalone service. Pet-safe melt on residential, calibrated salt or eco-melt on commercial per the contract spec. Useful for properties where the village plows the drive but the walks need treatment.
