Common questions about waterproofing.
How do I know if my basement actually has a leak?
A real leak shows up after a heavy rain — water at the floor edges or staining on the walls. Condensation alone (musty smell, occasional dampness in summer) is a humidity issue and the fix is different. We can tell which it is during the site visit.
Will fixing my basement require digging up my yard?
Sometimes. Interior drain tile installs from inside the basement with no excavation. Exterior membranes do require digging the foundation perimeter — usually a 3-5 day job, and we restore the landscape after.
How long do your fixes last?
Interior drain tile and sump systems carry 25-year warranties when installed by us. Exterior membranes 10-15 years. Foundation crack repair 5-10 years depending on the crack.
Can you fix a yard that floods every spring?
Yes — yard drainage is one of our ten waterproofing services. We map low spots, install French drains or surface drains, and route the water to a daylight outlet. Most jobs done in 2-3 days.
Are estimates free?
Yes — site visit, diagnosis, and itemized estimate are free. We don't quote without walking the property; phone-only quotes for waterproofing tend to be wrong.
